Description:The 6 Minute Walking Test (6MWT) measures the maximum distance you can walk in 6 minutes, and is a tool to estimate improvement in physical fitness. This is done by counting your steps (and multiplying them by your stride length) or by using location tracking. A standardized 6MWT happens indoors, at a marked distance. However, a study has shown that the accuracy of a random trajectory measured by the number of steps and stride length is sufficient to measure significant differences, and therefore progression. The app optionally provides the ability to synchronize data via an HTTP REST API.This application has been developed by Hasselt University (HCI & eHealth research group), for use in studies related to physical activity during rehabilitation / prevention of heart disease.Permission:The application asks you to give permission to read your physical activity (number of steps) and precise location. If you do not give permission, the application may not work properly.Privacy:Unless a server for synchronization is set up in the settings, the data will not be sent and will only be stored on the device. Note that if the app is deleted, all data will be lost!
